Ask Michelle – Logo Redesign

I was approached by Michelle Espinosa, a connection I met through networking, who runs her own business support service, helping businesses stay organised and get things done. Michelle had originally created her logo herself when she first started out, but as her business developed, she felt it no longer reflected the professional image she wanted to present. She was looking for something more bespoke and distinctive that would represent her personality, her services and help her stand out within the VA industry.

Keeping Michelle’s existing brand colours, I explored typography that felt more sophisticated and elegant while still remaining friendly and approachable. I wanted the logo to have meaning behind the design rather than simply being visually appealing.

The three dots were incorporated as a familiar symbol of communication, an important part of Michelle’s role as a VA. The connected A and M were designed to give a sense of support and someone to lean on, reflecting the relationship Michelle builds with her clients. I then brought the elements together within a speech bubble to reinforce communication and the “Ask” element of the business name.

The finished identity feels modern, meaningful and approachable, while giving Michelle a much more distinctive and professional brand. Most importantly, it has given her a logo she now feels proud and confident to use across her business.
