Sales Before Marketing
Designing the cover for Sales Before Marketing was such a rewarding project. Emma Meheux spent over three years gathering her insights and experience to create her debut business book, and being invited to bring her vision to life was a real privilege.
Emma came to the project with a clear idea of the tone she wanted, and through regular conversations and careful use of her brand colours, we shaped a cover that feels true to her message. Her book guides small business owners to build strong sales foundations before investing heavily in marketing. It is a practical and down to earth read for anyone wanting to make selling simpler and more effective.
The unicycle became the central visual metaphor, hinting at the balance and structure that her approach encourages. I illustrated it specifically for the cover, keeping it aligned with her branding so everything felt cohesive and intentional.
The title already sparks interest, and the final design gives a gentle nod to the content while still standing out enough to draw people in. A great cover should invite readers before they have even turned the first page.
